Vacancy: Junior Payroll Coordinator

| Check times input by supervisors amending any late starters, early leavers, sickness, maternity, holidays, authorised absences, unauthorised absences and check up on obvious mistakes. | |
| Check all holidays and sickness against the Absence/Holiday list from Human Resources. Inform HR of any differences that need to be rectified. | |
| Check all starters and leavers from the weekly HR report to ensure that the appropriate amount is paid to employees, and that no overpayments are made to leavers. | |
| Assist with the effective running of weekly and monthly payrolls, updating of all payroll files - process starters, leavers, SSP, SMP, changes forms, pay increases, passed probation forms, P45s, P46s, and pay advances. | |
| Print all payslips and check through carefully, making any necessary amendments. | |
| Distribute payslips after printing. | |
| Liaise with Inland Revenue, Job Centre, CSA, Courts, Councils and Agencies on a regular basis. | |
| Liaise with the company HR department in order to appropriately address any problems or queries that may arise. | |
| Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace. | |
| Adhere to procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role. | |
| Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge in order to effectively perform the role. | |
| Learn and keep up with payroll legislation. |
| Competence with Microsoft Office and its relevant functions. | |
